We didn’t stay much on the Layering Synthesis method tutorial. My point was to focus on the low end in this Lowend101 and give you hints on how to get started in subtractive synthesis through the Analog Four. Therefore when you USE TRK SOUNDS it is a powerful tool for Layering Synthesis. At the end of the day it’s up you to explore this way of designing sounds and see where it fits in your songs.
Also as we design 2 sounds here this post will be a long one to follow. This will open your knowledge to a whole new level. It’s not that much more of a complex idea to learn. You should take notes of your experience and see it more as a powerful method for patch design.
We can see that there’s a chord set on OSC1, OSC2 (T1) and OSC1, OSC2 (T2) +3, 0, +7 – 12 but we’re gonna talk about that in One Finger Chords Post. Other than that there’s nothing very complicated here. You will have to activate these options in Poly Config. Make sure you check Voices 1 & 2 as well as USE TRK SOUNDS.
