Fill

A fill is a short rhythmic or melodic passage, often played on drums or percussion, used to signal a transition between sections of a song (e.g., from a verse to a chorus). Fills can also be created with synths, FX, or other instruments. They add variety, energy, and help guide the listener through the structure of the track.
