Microphone

A microphone is a transducer that converts sound waves into an electrical signal. It’s used to record vocals, instruments, ambient sounds, or effects. There are several types of microphones based on their technology (Dynamic, Condenser, Ribbon). Microphones also have different polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional…) that determine how they capture sound directionally.
