Multiband

Multiband refers to audio processing that splits the signal into separate frequency ranges (bands), allowing each one to be processed independently. For example, a multiband compressor can compress the lows, mids, and highs separately. This provides greater control and precision, especially in mixing, mastering, and sound design. It’s useful for applying targeted adjustments without affecting the whole frequency spectrum.
