Edgydown Patch
Edgydown Patch Explained illustrated the Oscillators Sync Mode 1>2
Oscillator 1 settings
1/ There’s a few things we need to change here. The first thing is we set OSC1 as TB303 Waveform with the Transistor Pulse TRP and the PWM: -20 that’s really the perfect start point for a TB-303 timbre/tone.

2/ A little bit of use on the BND and SLI (pitch modulation shortcut) we activate this with Oscillators Sync mode 1>2

Oscillator 2 settings
3/ We use the same waveform here so remember what we do here is doubling waveform with octave separation (OSC1 is TUN:0) OSC2 is TUN:-12 so one octave appart from OSC1. Pulse Width is set to -25 and Level:80 so there’s a little bit of mixing between these waveforms here. We inject some low end but not too much so OSC1 because it stands out more.

AMP Envelope settings
4/ Traditional ADSR shaping of the sound, a bit of delay and reverb…

Filters settings
5/ The Multi-Mode Filter is used as the removal tool here (subtractive synthesis) we add some overdrive to the envelope amount and add a little bit of key tracking.

6/ Nothing complicated here just follow these settings.

We will give the patch a more vintage sound.
7/ This is done by adding some noise on the attack portion of the sound

LFO1 settings
8/ Simple modulation is done by giving a bit of movement on the Filter Frequency. This is the most commonly used destination.
