Stereo
Stereo refers to audio playback using two separate channels, left (L) and right (R), which creates a sense of width and spatial depth. Unlike mono (a single centered signal), stereo allows sounds to be placed across the horizontal sound field, offering more realism, clarity, and dimensionality. In music production, stereo is used for panning instruments, creating wide effects, or applying mid/side processing. Good stereo management enhances space and separationwithout compromising mono compatibility.
