Tempo

Tempo is the speed at which a piece of music is played, measured in beats per minute (BPM). For example, a tempo of 120 BPM means there are 120 beats per minute. Tempo greatly affects the feel, energy, and style of a track. In DAWs, tempo can be fixed or automated, and it can be synced with plugins, loops, or external hardware.
