Sample

A sample is a short audio clip taken from any sound source: a song, voice, sound effect, vinyl record, movie, instrument, etc. This audio fragment can then be reused, sliced, modified, and integrated into a new musical composition using a sampler or audio software. Samples can be rhythmic (drum hits, loops), melodic, vocal, or ambient. They are widely used in electronic music, hip-hop, pop, trap, and cinematic production.
